Job summary

Qualcomm Canada ULC in Toronto is seeking a Program Manager to lead schedules, budgets, resources and risks within the Engineering Services Group. You will drive the program from initiation to delivery, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders on technical matters.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or related field and 2+ years in program management; advanced degrees may substitute for up to two years. PMP certification is an asset.

General Summary:

Develops, defines, and executes plans of record, including: schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks. Monitors and drives the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders across functions on technical matters, as needed. Monitors budget/spending, on-time delivery, and achievement of program milestones. Represents the program and drives alignment across stakeholders.

Replacement Position

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

What You'll Do

What you'll Need

• Electrical engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent a minimum
• Experience in development of high speed serdes 112G+ , controllers and protocol knowledge
• Experience in stage gate process for new program development
• Experience in engineering role as part of high speed serdes IP development for understanding of execution flow and cross team interdependencies
• Schedule development, tracking and reporting with MS Office Project
• Understanding of IP development challenges in advanced process nodes at 5nm and below
• Experience in development of high speed serdes 112G+ and protocol knowledge
• Understanding of key IP deliverables and customer integration challenges
• PMP certification an asset

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$112,000.00 - $162,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
