Job summary

Qualcomm Canada ULC is seeking a senior Program Manager to lead programs around Serdes, PCIe, Ethernet, and UCIe IPs in the Engineering Services Group. The role involves direct coordination with customers, vendors, and engineering leads to ensure timely delivery and adherence to SoWs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
• Understanding of key IP deliverables and customer integration challenges.
• Familiarity with MS Office Project and Jira/Confluence.
• PMP certification an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct point of contact for leading edge customers and vendors on Serdes, Pcie, Ethernet, UCIe IPs program.
• Working with external partners and engineering leads to align on optimal solutions
• Dedicated, single point of contact to coordinate and track issues
• Runs program schedule, regular status update meetings, action item tracking and delivery acceptance
• Coordinates activities to ensure that all contractual obligations, SoW goals, are being met
• Internal execution
• Regular review of program schedules, risks and resolution strategy with management team
• Defining and driving process frameworks across teams for efficient and consistent execution and quality deliverables
• Ensuring WBS consistent with program intent and working with project manager and engineering leads to realign as needed
• Driving internal programs kickoff, deliveries and signoff both internally and with external partners

Backfill position

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of key IP deliverables and customer integration challenges
• Understanding of execution flow and cross team interdependencies for high speed serdes IP development
