LeverageTek is actively seeking a Program Manager for a 2.5-year term position with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location: Hybrid (1x a week onsite at HQ in Ottawa)

Security Clearance: Enhanced Reliability

Key Tasks

1. Work closely with the Lead Assessor to determine the scope and criteria to be assessed.
2. Review customers’ quality management system, standard operation procedures (SOPs), procedures, forms, work instructions, and job aids to assess evidence of conformity with relevant criteria.
3. Review customers’ personnel competency management system, personnel human resources records, VVBs file records to assess evidence of conformity with relevant criteria.
4. Observe the work of VVB personnel to assess conformity to procedures and application of relevant criteria via witness audits.
5. Gather objective evidence of conformances and non-conformances during assessments.
6. Report findings to the Lead Assessor and provide recommendations based on evidence.

Key Qualifications

• Strong background and experience working in an Accreditation Body environment and/or organizations.
• Experience applying conformity assessment methodologies and analyzing skills in relevant GHG sectors, including knowledge of VVB business environments, ISO 14065, ISO/IEC 17029, GHG technical sectors, SCC GHGAP programs, and GHGAP sub-programs (VCS, CFR, CORSIA).
• Experience auditing VVB processes and procedures via internal or external audits.

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of certification bodies certifying Forestry - Management Systems Accreditation Program.
• Knowledge in Sustainable Forest Management Sector Schemes.
• Knowledge of certification bodies operating in the forestry scheme - Product, Process, and Service Certification Body Accreditation Program.
