Job summary

ECVO is seeking a Program Director to lead day-to-day program delivery and office operations on-site in Edmonton. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week with a competitive CAD 35–40/hour rate and autonomy over scheduling.

You will facilitate programs, train others, hire and manage a small team, and represent the organization with community partners. Strong governance, communication, and nonprofit experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program management, coordination, and client services experience.
  • Experience in program delivery, facilitation, or adult education/training.
  • Experience overseeing a team member or coordinating a small team.
  • Strong relationship-management and communication skills.
  • Nonprofit governance, accessibility experience, and hearing loss knowledge is an asset.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

We Are Hiring: Program Director (Part-time, On-site)

Part-time, 20 hours/week|$35.00-$40.00/hour, commensurate with experience |Office Location: Jerry Forbes Centre, 12212 68 ST

What You’ll Do - Core Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day program delivery and office operations.
  • Facilitate programs directly, ensuring quality and consistency of delivery, including training others and creating presentations for online and in-person sessions.
  • Oversee and support the team, including hiring, compensation, and performance decisions.
  • Represent CHHA-Edmonton with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Report regularly to the Board on program and organizational priorities.

  • You communicate clearly and adjust your style for different audiences.
  • You build genuine relationships inside and outside the organization.

What We’re Looking For
