Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Program Coordinator located in Toronto, ON. We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to help manage two key programs under our New Order of Risk Management : Theory and Applications in the Era of Systemic Risk (NORM) portfolio, funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Alliance-Mitacs Accelerate grant. Namely, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth-sailing of our sought-after work-integrated learning program Hybrid Academia-Industry Internships via Virtual Engagement (HAIIvVE) and RISC’s Subsidized Internship Program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Communications, Finance, Accounting or a related field, with 4-5 years of experience or Master’s degree with 1-2 year experience.
• Experience in program management, ideally within an educational or industry partnership context.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with social media platforms and digital tools for communication and engagement.
• Experience in working with postsecondary students.
• Experience with recruitment processes.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to be proactive, level-headed and work under pressure.
• Ability to work both in a team environment as well as autonomously.
