Dalhousie University’s Ocean Frontier Institute seeks a Program Coordinator, Community Driven Research, to lead community-engaged research programs and coordinate funding initiatives across Atlantic Canada and beyond. Reporting to the Scientific Director, you will provide leadership in program delivery, evaluation, and partnership development.
The role emphasizes collaboration with academic partners, Indigenous communities, and regional stakeholders, with hybrid work options in Nova Scotia.
Salary $59,403 - $75,221 per annum based on 35 hours per week

The Ocean Frontier Institute ( OFI ), through its leadership of the Transforming Climate Action ( TCA ) program and collaboration with partner institutions including Memorial University, Université Laval, and Université du Québec à Rimouski, supports community-driven research and climate adaptation initiatives across Atlantic Canada, Arctic, and Eastern Quebec. Reporting to the Scientific Director, the Program Coordinator, Community Driven Research will provide leadership and coordination for critical community-engaged and community driven research programs.
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work from within Nova Scotia) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.
