The Renewable Energy Storage Laboratory ( RESL ) at Dalhousie University conducts research on energy storage technologies to support the increased integration of renewable energy with the electricity grid. The demands placed on the electricity grid by the principal sectors (residential, commercial, industrial) vary throughout the day. Renewable resources such as the wind, sun, and tides vary independently of demand, and consequently require energy storage to bridge the gap periods. Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Program Coordinator supports effective development, administration, coordination, and communication of research activities within the research space. The role includes coordination of project operations, stakeholder engagement, knowledge mobilization, student engagement, grant administration, ongoing assessment, reporting, and policy and regulatory compliance to support successful research outcomes.
Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in-person on campus.
