Bombardier is seeking an Engineering Professional for Flight Control Laws (CLaws) design, development and analysis. The role focuses on the Fly-by-Wire system for next-generation aircraft, with responsibilities to craft CLaws and validation tools, and ensure compliance with DO-178B and ARP 4754.
Ideal candidates hold a degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical engineering and 3+ years in FBW CLaws development, with strong MATLAB/Simulink and C++ skills, and fluent English.

The CLaws team is responsible for the design, development, testing and certification of the Fly-by-Wire (FBW) flight control laws for the next generation Bombardier aircraft which at present includes the Global 7000/8000 business jet. The CLaws provide a means to manage the aircraft response due to pilot inputs, to reduce pilot workload while fulfilling handling quality and performance/structural loads requirements along with providing additional flight and structural envelope protections.
