McDougall Energy Inc. is seeking a full-time Professional Delivery Driver for our Sudbury Branch. You will be responsible for the safe transportation of bulk products and delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic outdoor environment.

The ideal candidate holds a valid DZ or AZ license, has at least two years of driving experience, and can work independently in a fast-paced setting. Training, safety bonuses, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years driving experience with a valid DZ or AZ.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong customer service and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver bulk products to client fleets, heavy equipment, generators or bulk tanks within the designated area.
• Maintain inventory control of bulk products on the truck.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
• Operate outdoors in various weather conditions and monitor fuel flow.
• Use handheld device to track input and disposal of fuel.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is looking for a skilled and safety focused individual to fill the position of full-time Professional Delivery Driver in our Sudbury Branch.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of products while upholding a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and we expect our drivers to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers. Reporting to the Operations Manager responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk products to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
• Inventory control of bulk products on truck
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customers’ needs
• Using handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed of from the truck

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years driving experience with a valid DZ or AZ

• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work a variety of shifts

This position is physically demanding, involving significant lifting and pulling in an outdoor climate. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass pre- and random drug & alcohol testing and must have a safety and compliance mindset.
