Job summary

Legend Boats, a leading Canadian boat manufacturer, is seeking a Part-Time AZ Driver to join our logistics team in Whitefish, Ontario. This role focuses on safe, on-time transportation of high-value boats across Canada and occasional U.S. trips, with a hands-on deck work environment.

You will earn competitive mileage pay of $0.54 per mile plus a $75 loading/unloading flat rate, plus $26 per hour for extra work, and you’ll have access to on-site fitness and team events.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ license with a minimum of three years of verifiable long-haul and deck work experience.
• Willingness to travel and be away from home for extended periods.
• Strong knowledge of Eastern Canada; familiarity with Western Canada and U.S. routes is an asset.
• Proficient with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and safe transport practices.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting, ladders, and load securement; detail-oriented and professional.

Responsibilities

• Execute safe, timely transportation of high-value boats to dealer networks, events, and shows.
• Secure loads and perform mandatory pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with yard staff and dealers at all locations.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and dealer contacts for on-time schedules.
• Serve as a professional ambassador for Legend Boats, upholding safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the safe and timely transportation of high-value boats and equipment to dealer networks, events, and boat shows.
• Expertly secure loads, rigorously performing mandatory pre- and post-trip inspections.
