Skretting Vancouver seeks a Production Technician capable of executing a broad range of operational activities and processes according to established specifications and guidelines to meet production targets. The role initially involves packaging but will expand to include all operational processes in production. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to operate all types of equipment and machinery, and dedicated to safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operational Tasks: Execute various operational activities such as discharge, load, transport, cleaning, labeling, and equipment operation to ensure safe and efficient production processes.
2. Reporting: Log data and information accurately to maintain comprehensive records of production activities and progress.
3. Continuous Improvement: Identify deviations and opportunities for process improvements, and participate in related projects.
4. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality regulations, promote SHEQ awareness, and address potential hazards.
5. Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring the production area is hazard-free and well-presented.

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in production, packaging, or machine operation within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and operational procedures.

Role Expectations:

• Hands-on involvement in all production and packaging activities.
• Ability to recognize and respond to safety hazards promptly.
