Job Overview:

Under the supervision of the Line Leader or Production Supervisor, the Production Technician is responsible for ensuring equipment is operated safely and correctly, monitoring gauges, and maintaining process specifications to produce high-quality products. This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular assessments of manufacturing areas to ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and safety standards, addressing observations promptly.
2. Train employees in job functions according to SOPs, and evaluate training effectiveness.
3. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process evaluations and studies.
4. Develop manufacturing procedures, set machine controls as per manuals, oversee production, and inspect processes.
5. Address potential product quality issues, including initial assessments, containment, and corrective actions.
6. Participate in investigations related to manufacturing processes and implement CAPAs.
7. Make machine adjustments as needed and support maintenance with troubleshooting deviations.
8. Perform SPC checks following procedures.
9. Participate in change-over and setup processes to meet efficiency standards.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a college diploma in a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

• Fast-paced, automated, high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Temperature-controlled and clean workplace.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to heavy machinery, loud noises, forklift traffic, and extreme heat.
