Job Overview:

Under the supervision of the Line Leader or Production Supervisor, the Production Technician is responsible for operating equipment safely and correctly, using monitors and gauges. The role ensures equipment operates within process specifications and that high-quality products are produced consistently.

This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform assessments of manufacturing areas to ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and safety standards, addressing observations promptly.
2. Train employees on job functions per SOP, and evaluate training effectiveness.
3. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process evaluations such as equipment time studies and changeover studies.
4. Develop manufacturing procedures, set machine controls, oversee production, and inspect processes.
5. Address potential product quality issues with immediate assessments, containment, and escalation as needed.
6. Participate in investigations related to manufacturing processes and implement CAPAs.
7. Make machine adjustments to resolve line issues and support maintenance in troubleshooting deviations.
8. Perform SPC checks according to procedures.
9. Participate in change-over processes, aiming to meet or exceed time standards.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a college diploma in a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced, automated, high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Temperature-controlled and clean setting.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to heavy machinery, loud noises, forklift traffic, and extreme heat.
