CAE Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a high‑precision manufacturing team in Montreal. You will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety and quality, and drive on‑time delivery in a collaborative setting.

The role requires hands-on leadership on the shop floor, problem solving, and a track record of continuous improvement in a technology‑driven environment. Fluency in English and French is essential for cross‑border communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and industrial experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience with production scheduling, workforce planning and operational metrics.
• Experience driving continuous improvement in manufacturing settings.
• Experience working in a unionized environment.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and safety practices.
• Proficient in English and French communication.

About this Role

Manufacturing assembly, production team leadership, continuous improvement and high-precision manufacturing. As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a manufacturing team responsible for building CAE's industry-leading flight simulators. You will oversee daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and delivery objectives are achieved while supporting a collaborative and high-performing team environment. We are looking for a hands‑on leader who enjoys working on the production floor, solving problems and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and develop a team of production employees in a manufacturing environment
• Manage daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity and delivery objectives are achieved

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience managing production schedules, workforce planning and operational performance
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a unionized environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of manufacturing health and safety best practices
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working in a complex, technology‑driven or evolving manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills in both French and English
• English proficiency is required for this role as it involves regular interaction with colleagues, customers and partners located outside of Quebec.
