Job summary

CAE Inc in Montreal's manufacturing center is seeking an Engineering Manager, Operations Support to lead a specialized team of mechanical and electrical engineers. You will ensure the team has the resources and support to meet operational requirements while maintaining strong relationships with internal customers.

You will drive continuous improvement, monitor performance metrics, and foster a customer‑focused culture while guiding project risks and day‑to‑day activities across production,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or College Diploma) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in team leadership or supervision.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and Power BI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both French and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise the Operations Support team.
• Serve as primary point of contact between Manufacturing Engineering and Operations, managing escalations.
• Define, develop, and implement the vision and strategic direction of the Operations Support department.
• Oversee day-to-day Operations Support activities to meet service commitments and performance objectives.
• Establish, manage, and monitor budgets related to Operations Support activities.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and lead process enhancements across the organization.
