Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Human Resources & Labour Relations Manager for Saint-Laurent and Ottawa sites. You will lead HR activities, coach the HR Business Partner team, and drive labour relations and organizational development initiatives.

You will implement strategic action plans, participate in large-scale projects, and ensure compliance with employment laws while fostering a constructive, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• Eight to ten years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a unionized, multi-site manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of employment and labour laws and regulations.
• Strategic partner, coach and change agent to leadership teams.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook; bilingual in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of site leadership and influence decisions related to human capital.
• Supervise and develop the HR Business Partner team and coach broader HR team.
• Implement the HR strategic action plan across supported sites.
• Lead large-scale projects and manage change effectively.
• Provide leadership in labour relations and interpretation of agreements and laws.
• Collaborate with HR CoEs including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Organizational Development.
• Contribute to organizational development, performance management and succession planning.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture and support return-to-work cases.

The Human Resources & Labour Relations Manager serves as an influential leader and is responsible for all human resources activities for the Saint-Laurent and Ottawa sites.
