Job summary

Manpower Canada in Ontario, Clearview, is seeking a Production Supervisor who leads daily operations, ensures safety, quality, and productivity, and develops a high-performing team.

You will coach Production Operators, monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate staffing, training, and schedules while complying with SOPs and GMP.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of measurable operational improvements.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Coach, mentor and develop Production Operators while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production performance and KPIs to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate staffing, training, documentation, work orders and schedules.
• Oversee equipment setup, operation, cleaning and maintenance coordination.
• Investigate and resolve production issues with corrective actions and improvements.
• Partner with management to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are achieved
• Coach, mentor, and develop a team of Production Operators while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Monitor production performance and KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, Good Production Practices (GPP), and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate staffing, training, documentation, work orders, and production schedules
• Oversee equipment setup, operation, cleaning, and maintenance coordination
• Investigate and resolve production issues while implementing corrective actions and process improvements
• Partner with management to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of achieving measurable operational improvements
• Strong people leadership skills with demonstrated success developing and motivating employees
• Curious, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and continuously learn
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is an asset
