Saint-Gobain is seeking a Production Manager to lead Brampton plant operations, driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. You will develop people, optimize performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to meet schedules, reduce downtime, and improve OEE while shaping the future of our operation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading supervisors in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic extrusion related field strongly encouraged.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams within a unionized environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated success improving safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze operational data and make informed business decisions.
• Experience using ERP, MRP, and manufacturing reporting systems.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure production schedules are met while maximizing efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and improve KPIs including productivity, OEE, yield, scrap, and downtime.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Engineering teams to optimize plant performance.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production and quality challenges.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage workforce planning, employee performance, and talent development activities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement, and continuous learning.
• Support strategic initiatives, capital projects, and operational improvement programs.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates, the base pay for this position ranges from 80 500$ to 102 000$ per year. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to education, experience, skills and qualifications as they relate to the role. Fully qualified and experienced candidates will typically align near the midpoint. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures.
