Job summary

Sobkow Technologies Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly production teams and drive safe, efficient manufacturing in Manitoba. You will champion continuous improvement, uphold GMP/HACCP standards, and promote a constructive union-relations environment.

You will be responsible for directing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and mentoring staff in a fast-paced setting, while collaborating with all shifts to meet production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and HACCP is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct supervision to hourly production employees.
• Manage safe, cost effective and efficient production.
• Continuously improve plant resources, processes, efficiencies and quality.
• Ensure employee safety and compliance with Manitoba's WHSA and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with union members and administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Foster open communication across hourly and salaried staff; accommodate overtime as needed.

• Provide leadership and direct supervision to hourly production employees in the assigned department.
• Manage safe, cost effective and efficient production.
• Continuously improve plant manufacturing resources, processes, efficiencies, and quality.
• Ensure employee safety and overall compliance to Manitoba?s Workplace Health and Safety Act.
• Ensure Compliance with all HACCP procedures.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with union members.
• Administer the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Ensure open and effective communication with both hourly and salaried employees.
• Available to work overtime hours as required.

What you will bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (ex. General Education Development accreditation).
• Three to five years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

• Demonstrated ability to exercise effective judgment in business decisions.
