Job summary

Starfield LION is seeking a Production Scheduler in Toronto, Ontario. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource use.

You will manage MRO materials and collaborate with Production, Sales, Customer Service, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to balance demand and capacity. The role requires 2+ years in production planning and experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management or related industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and MRO within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Epicor, Plex, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on demand, inventory, and capacity.
• Analyze capacity, equipment availability, and material supply to optimize efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Warehouse and Supply Chain to ensure realistic schedules.
• Own all scheduling outputs and communicate updates to teams.
• Communicate changes due to priorities, shortages, or capacity adjustments.
