Sofina Foods Canada is seeking a Production Scheduler to manage the Master Production Schedule and coordinate planning with the Plant Manager to optimize resource use. You’ll balance forecasts, raw materials, and production to align with customer orders and sales projections.
The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing planning experience, a materials management or production planning diploma, and strong MS Office skills.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Scheduler is accountable for creating and maintaining the overall Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet operational and customer requirements and to ensure the optimal utilization of company resources. They are also accountable for, incumbent balances, raw supply, and production to ensure operational requirements align with sales forecasts and customer orders. The position works closely with the Plant Manager to coordinate planning of activities.
