Job summary

Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler for an on-site role in Woodbridge, ON. The ideal candidate has about two years in production scheduling, enjoys organizing workflows and solving problems, and can work closely with production teams to meet customer deadlines.

Responsibilities include creating schedules for multiple production lines, coordinating with production, services, and materials, monitoring APS, and keeping accurate records in SYSPRO.

Qualifications

• Approximately two years of production scheduling, planning or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Recent graduates with relevant scheduling experience or exposure will be considered.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, supply chain or operations management preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.
• Familiarity with manufacturing scheduling and production systems such as APS and MOM.
• SYSPRO experience is an asset, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain schedules for water-based, lamination and UV production.
• Coordinate with production, customer service, materials and management to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor and update APS to support scheduling and resource allocation.
• Confirm material availability and adjust job schedules with production teams.
• Track job progress and report delays or delivery risks to Plant Manager.
• Review MOM transactions and correct discrepancies in production records.
• Perform job receipts in SYSPRO and follow up on past-due jobs and closures.
• Coordinate overtime production with supervisors and manage priorities.
• Use Excel to organize scheduling information and support reporting.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized workspace.
