ePac Flexible Packaging is a rapidly growing digital printing company with locations across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Indonesia.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for planning and managingproduction schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity as well as managing inventory levels.

This is a 100% Work From Office Position


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans and manages production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and utilize the company’s production capacity.
  • In charge of Raw Materials Handling - order and manage purchases to support plant production, ensuring availability of raw materials to meet production schedules.
  • Assists Production Manager with developing production schedules to improve efficiency in production and existing processes
  • Helps Production Manager with shift planning and personnel
  • Provides updates on order status to sales and sales support.
  • Receives and reviews job tickets against current requirements and work in process using the material requirement planning report.
  • Understands and follows all safety policies and procedures. Helps support the management team by communicating unsafe practices to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to SQF (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
  • Reviews production reports and ensures proper recording. Records and corrects errors.
  • Motivates and retains critical personnel to meet and exceed internal company goals.
  • Oversees monthly inventory physical count and manages adjustments that follow in future
  • Completes shipping information and delivery date input during sale order reviews in future
  • Special projects & support other parts of production, as and when needed

Qualifications

  • Computer Proficiency is a must. Knowledge of Google Suites is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency - ERP Systems experience is a plus. Candidate must be able to learn the manufacturing concepts & existing ERP system functionalities
  • Problem Solving/Analysis; Decision Making; Collaboration Skills
  • Attention to Details - must be able to understand the end-to-end customer experience

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Relevant Work Experience : 1-2 years required
  • College degree or technical school, operations management or supply chain
  • Experience and training in Continuous Improvement/LEAN principles - preferred
