MSP Manitoba Starch Products in Carberry, Manitoba is hiring full-time Production Operators in a 24/7 plant. Positions involve rotating 10 & 12 hour day/night shifts, with guaranteed 7 out of 14 days per pay period.

You will learn and operate PLC systems, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in food manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work rotating shifts and varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to comprehend complex systems, equipment, and processes.
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule including 10 and 12 hour day/night shifts.
• Ability to work alone on night and weekend shifts.
• Comfort with varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand on concrete for long periods.
• Strong attendance and work ethic; positive, collaborative attitude.
• Fluent English (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Set up production equipment and supplies before producing job orders.
• Operate industrial vehicles to transfer finished product within the factory.
• Work with the PLC system to monitor production and troubleshoot issues.
• Inspect equipment for replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.
• Perform regular equipment preventive maintenance to ensure capacity and quality.
• Monitor waste production streams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

MSP Manitoba Starch Products in Carberry, Manitoba is currently seeking full-time Production Operators to join our team! Our plant operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. The successful applicants will work on a rotating schedule which includes 10 and 12 hour day and night shifts, so you only work 7 out of 14 days each pay period!

Compensation and Benefits:

What you?ll do:

The successful candidate will possess:

• 1+ years? experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex systems, equipment, and processes
• Available to work 10 and 12 hour shifts on a 24 hour, 7 day per week rotating schedule
• The ability to work alone on night and weekend shifts is required
• The ability to work in varying temperatures
• The ability to lift and carry up to 25kgs, walk and stand on concrete for long periods of time (with breaks), and be comfortable with heights
• A strong work ethic with the ability to maintain an excellent attendance record
• A positive, collaborative attitude and approach to work
• Mechanical aptitude
