Trans-United Consultants Ltd. is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to head a manufacturing site in Canada. The role focuses on driving profitability, safety, and continuous improvement across a 50+ employee, three-shift operation.

You will guide engineering and product development and ensure ERP data integrity while aligning resources to annual budgets and KPIs. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Formación

• University degree or college diploma in a technical field (equivalent experience considered).
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a union environment.
• Background in continuous improvement projects, scheduling and process support.
• Background in injection molding preferred.
• Experience managing a site with 50+ employees and three-shift/continuous operations.
• Strong background in business and operations; leadership that motivates teams.
• Experience implementing operational metrics and holding people accountable.
• Strategic thinker who can advance business operations.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct and control the activities of the operation to accomplish the budgeted financial objectives
• Ensure the profitability and viability of the company; if not, take appropriate actions
• Monitor and control all programs and activities related to the safety and well-being of the entire workforce
• Ensure the company is in compliance with government and regulatory requirements
• Ensure the requirements of the Quality and Environmental Systems are fully adhered to
• Support Controller to maintain ERP (Sage + Mysis) data integrity
• Foster and promote growth by supporting Engineering and Product Development
• Support Controller to prepare annual budgets
• Ensure that new business is started up effectively and on time
• Provide guidance and direction to all functional areas
• Manage the necessary resources to achieve annual budgets
• Manage headcount in line with revenue and take appropriate actions to flex cost to revenue
• Develop individual goals for operations team
• Execute to meet and exceed Company KPIs
