Job summary

Job description

The Role

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for all activities related to production planning and execution. You will ensure effective coordination between the various functions involved (engineering, projects, procurement, shop floor), while ensuring that quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

You will also play a key role in mentoring project managers and optimizing work methods to support sustainable industrial performance.

Your responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate production activities based on available resources and deadlines;
  • Develop budget projections and ensure rigorous monitoring of production costs;
  • Monitor the overall performance of the production line (quality, deadlines, profitability) and propose areas for improvement;
  • Present structured progress reports to management and stakeholders;
  • Supervise and support project managers in carrying out their mandates;
  • Plan and lead occupational health and safety meetings;
  • Monitor orders, logistics, and project deliveries;
  • Plan and coordinate equipment and fixed asset maintenance;
  • Ensure a high level of service to internal and external clients;
  • Supervise and optimize inventory management activities;
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure their implementation.
Desired Profile
Knowledge
  • Good understanding of industrial water treatment processes;
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, including the fabrication and assembly of complex systems;
  • Excellent command of production planning and management principles;
  • Ability to analyze costs, profitability, and industrial performance;
  • Knowledge of the specific challenges of the industrial and mining sectors;
  • Proficiency in planning tools, including MS Project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, chemical, electrical, water engineering, or related field);
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment;
  • Experience in the manufacturing, assembly, or integration of complex systems (equipment, skids, modular units);
  • Solid understanding of production and industrial performance issues;
  • Knowledge of applicable industry standards and best practices;
  • Excellent command of French.
