With in-house embroidery, heat press, and fulfillment capabilities, they serve a growing base of clients who value accuracy, speed, and tailored product experiences.To support increasing demand and expansion of their production footprint, XEIST is adding this full-time Production Manager role to strengthen their internal operations and team leadership. The Production Manager will also oversee external vendors, especially in time-sensitive situations and when outsourced production is required. The Role: Production ManagerBased in Beamsville, ON, the Production Manager will lead the day-to-day activities of the production floor, overseeing embroidery, heat press, and order fulfillment functions. This is a highly visible, hands-on role requiring strong team leadership, operational oversight, and the ability to implement and scale efficient systems. The Production Manager will also manage external vendors for emergency orders or rush situations and ensure that quality and cost standards are met.You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Design, Inventory, and Customer Experience—to ensure seamless production flow, accurate orders, and delivery that meets client expectations. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership- Manage, train, schedule, and coach a team of 6–12 production staff
- Foster a positive team culture built on accountability, respect, and collaboration

Production Oversight- Oversee all aspects of production workflow—embroidery, heat press, and fulfillment
- Ensure high quality and timely execution of custom orders
- Maintain inventory of blanks and consumables, supporting efficient material planning
- Troubleshoot production issues in real time and apply effective solutions
Vendor Management- Manage external vendors for emergency or rush orders
- Source prints and materials from outside suppliers as needed, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key external suppliers and ensure they meet company standards
Workflow & Systems- Develop and implement SOPs, performance metrics, and scalable production processes
- Use tools such as Google Workspace, Asana, and Slack to coordinate tasks and team communication
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure production is aligned with sales and customer timelines
Health & Safety Compliance- Ensure the team operates in accordance with all relevant health, safety, and employment standards
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Ideal Candidate ProfileThis role is well-suited to someone who brings both leadership capability and a practical, hands-on approach to managing a production floor.Experience & Skills:- 3–5 years in a production management or supervisory role, ideally in apparel, print, or customization
- Experience with embroidery and/or heat press strongly preferred
- Experience managing external vendors for rush or emergency orders and sourcing prints/materials from outside suppliers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Technically capable and comfortable using digital tools to manage workflow and track performance
- Clear communicator with strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable balancing daily execution with process improvement and long-term planning

Compensation & BenefitsXEIST offers a competitive salary in the $75,000 – $85,000 range, with flexibility for the right candidate who brings exceptional skills and leadership.
