Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Support Person to join our on-site team in Canada. You will perform general facility maintenance, manage oils and coolant inventories, and support safety and housekeeping programs to keep the site running smoothly.

This role involves operating forklifts and overhead cranes, coordinating with production, and maintaining records in Excel. A strong focus on safety, inspections, and timely reports on inventory and maintenance activities will be

Qualifications

• Forklift operation and safe lifting practices required.
• Experience with scissor lifts and overhead cranes preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and workplace regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping standards in the oil room and keep area clean and organized.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of oils, coolants, and supplies; provide weekly reports.
• Perform general facility maintenance tasks and support housekeeping initiatives.
• Maintain maintenance mezzanine and storage areas; ensure clean, safe work environment.
• Assist with machinery moves, installations, and arrivals; prepare areas and dispose of crates/pallets.
