Status : Permanent full-time position

Schedule: 40 hours/week, 4 days/week, Monday to Thursday

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Production, the Production & Maintenance Foreman manages and coordinates operations and also manages a maintenance team while ensuring productivity, product quality, and occupational health and safety requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing team leaders to ensure smooth shift operations, working closely with other Production Foremen, and collaborating with other departments to optimize production methods. The role also involves ensuring all tasks comply with health and safety laws, regulations, and company policies.

More specifically, the responsibilities include:

• Supervising, mentoring, and supporting the production team to meet company objectives
• Supervising and mentoring a team of millwrights to ensure preventive and daily equipment effectiveness
• Managing various stages of production, compliance, and performance effectively
• Training and developing employees at different workstations
• Implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
• Ensuring rigorous management of production within a framework of continuous improvement
• Maintaining compliance with quality standards and occupational health and safety regulations by ensuring procedures are followed
• Collaborating with the Health and Safety Committee to implement innovative solutions
• Performing all other related responsibilities
