Job summary

Bailey Metal Products, a Saint-Gobain company, is seeking a Production Manager for its Edmonton location. You will lead daily manufacturing operations to support the annual operating plan, providing leadership in safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.

You will implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Performance Control Systems (PCS) to improve efficiency, equipment reliability, waste reduction and customer satisfaction while achieving operational targets and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence programs.
• Strong understanding of OEE, root cause analysis, visual management, and problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule production employees to meet customer and internal requirements.
• Monitor quality and safety, identify unsafe conditions, and resolve issues.
• Oversee equipment setup and troubleshoot production, quality, and equipment issues.
• Monitor KPIs and implement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Coordinate plant training, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
