Job summary

Cascades is seeking a Production Supervisor in Calgary to lead daily operations and drive safety, quality and efficiency. You will oversee a shift, mentor a high-performance team, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet production targets in a unionized environment.

You’ll use your leadership and problem-solving strengths to manage incidents, coach employees, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in manufacturing.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive engagement, and manage performance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritise and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Promote employee participation in safety programs and continuous improvement.
• Ensure equipment executes the daily schedule according to standards and strategies.
• Own and monitor SQDEP metrics for the assigned shift and take corrective actions when needed.
• Communicate unresolved issues during shift handovers to ensure continuity.
