Position Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, adjusting, and setting up assigned mill lines independently while meeting production, quality, and safety requirements. This involves loading and setting up steel coils, making necessary adjustments for passing steel strips through roll forms, operating machinery, bundling pieces, transferring finished products onto wagons, and monitoring the roll-forming operation.
The individual should be able to identify immediate quality problems and operator checks as per quality procedures and required product standards. They are expected to manually handle finished products and prepare cartons for final packaging, ensuring compliance with safety acts and regulations.
