Job summary

Inland Steel Products Saskatoon is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead on-site teams, drive safety, efficiency, and quality across daily production, shipping, and maintenance, and support the company’s growth and success.

You will coach staff, optimize processes, monitor performance metrics, manage budgets, and collaborate with suppliers and customers to sustain continuous improvement, cost control, and a culture of teamwork.

• Operational Champion: Oversee daily operations, processing, and shipping activities to achieve productivity, cost, and quality targets.
• Business Builder: Strengthen relationships with suppliers and customers while identifying opportunities that align with our vision and drive sustainable growth.
• Safety Advocate: Partner with health and safety teams to ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
• Process Improver: Track performance metrics, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strategic Partner: Collaborate with leadership on operational planning, budgeting, and long-term business strategies.
• Equipment Coordinator: Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs to keep assets running efficiently.
