Job summary

Shawflex in Vaughan, Ontario, part of Mattr, seeks a Production Manager to lead all manufacturing operations at the facility. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance while guiding continuous improvement projects and high-performing teams.

You will collaborate with Process Engineering and oversee scheduling, reporting, and lean initiatives to meet customer and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and APICS/Lean training are preferred for success.

Qualifications

• 6 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading production teams and operations.
• APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management and/or Lean Six Sigma training.
• Experience with ERP and maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all production activities across Vaughan facility.
• Build a high-performance culture through visible leadership and engagement.
• Develop and execute plans to improve machine efficiency, labour utilization and productivity.
• Partner with Supply Chain Planning to develop production schedules.
• Ensure accurate production reporting and data management.
• Lead lean manufacturing practices, KanBan and continuous improvement.
