Job summary

CAE is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a high-performance manufacturing team building flight simulators. You will drive safety, quality and on-time delivery while fostering problem-solving and continuous improvement on the production floor.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of production leadership, experience with unionized environments, and strong French/English communication skills in a technology-driven manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or related field
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing/production
• Experience managing production schedules and workforce planning
• Experience driving continuous improvement in manufacturing
• Experience working in a unionized environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Strong communication in French and English

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and develop a manufacturing team
• Manage daily production activities ensuring safety, quality, productivity and delivery
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and standards
• Monitor production schedules and address issues affecting milestones
• Coordinate workforce, materials and resources
• Analyze performance to improve efficiency and quality
• Lead continuous improvement and change management
• Establish and maintain production procedures and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer commitments
• Ensure adherence to company policies and collective agreements
