Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators in production, mining, or mass earthworks environments.
• Solid understanding of truck loading practices and site flow.
• Knowledge of construction layout and staking (asset not required).

Responsibilities

• Load haul trucks safely and consistently in a high production environment.
• Maintain strong situational awareness around trucks, spotters, and ground crews.
• Read ground conditions and adjust to changing site conditions.
• Communicate clearly using radio, hand signals, and verbal direction.
• Complete pre operation inspections, logbooks, and light servicing.
• Keep equipment clean and well maintained.
• Identify hazards early and take action to keep yourself and others safe.
• Support the crew when needed to keep production moving.
