Job summary

Evertz Microsystems in Burlington, Ontario seeks a Production Engineer to validate hardware, firmware and software across modular and system levels. You will interface with development/test teams, create and execute manual and automated test plans, and track defects in JIRA.

You will train manufacturing staff for new releases and assist service with technical support. Ideal candidates hold a Software/Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering degree with 1–3 years in QA or testing, strong

• Degree or Diploma in Software, Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a Software/Hardware Testing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving ability and able to react to changing situations.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with modern software testing technologies.
• Networking certification with experience is an asset.
• Python certification with experience is an asset.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours.
