Job summary

ALDO Group International is seeking a Production Designer (Digital Focus)/Projects coordinator to support the Commercial Marketing team with all print and campaign organization tasks, focusing on digital asset development, from Photoshop mock-ups to final mechanical artwork for Aldo Group International brands.

The ideal candidate has a strong pre-press knowledge, 3–5 years of experience, and proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional DEC or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Responsibilities

  • Produce mechanical artwork for Marketing needs, from in-store collateral to communication tools.
  • Develop monthly digital assets for franchise and wholesale accounts.
  • Prepare pre-press files and deploy to franchise partners.
  • Manage project timelines with Project Leads and maintain production guidelines.
  • Contribute to seasonal signage templates and digital content.

Job Overview

ALDO Group International is looking for a Production Designer (Digital Focus)/Projects coordinator. This role will suit someone highly organized, meticulous in detail, used to pressure of multiple work streams and comfortable working in a sizeable corporate organization. This role will support the Commercial Marketing team with all print and campaign organization related tasks, with focus on digital asset development; including but not limited to Photoshop mock-ups through production of final mechanical artwork of signage assets for Aldo Group International brands (Aldo & Call it Spring). The ideal candidate has a clear understanding of pre-press and an art studio’s design process from beginning to final stages.

Creative
Responsibilities
  • Produce mechanical artwork for all Marketing needs, from in-store collateral to communication tools.
  • Develop monthly digital assets, for both franchise and wholesale accounts needs. Work on ideation of video and movable assets and coordinate with applicable production teams to realize needed assets.
  • Support in the development of AGI specific incremental digital content for key accounts
  • Work closely with Commercial Marketing team & Project Leads (brand teams) to prep pre-press files and deploy to franchise partners.
  • Effectively manage project timelines in collaboration with Project Leads.
  • Maintain comprehensive production guidelines.
  • Contribute to seasonal signage template creation.
  • Production of monthly social media assets.
  • Oversee content download and sharing on internal network.
  • Work closely with Top partners and wholesale accounts marketing agencies / teams
  • Work on special projects, presentations and concept development.
Administrative
  • Maintain and update the store information database with the most recent store specifications.
  • Works with brand creative teams to allocate global campaign assets (online and offline) marketing for all regions (MEA, EU, APAC, LAM) including specific needs for Wholesale key Accounts.
  • Gathers packaging, and distribution of campaign creative assets & region-specific campaign artwork adaptations.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional DEC
  • 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Strong digital creative background and knowledge
  • Expertise in Adobe CC proficiency (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); proficiency in Excel an asset.
  • Extensive knowledge & understanding of pre-press, print production, layout & typography a must
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Gif animation & Digital experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, multi-task and follow up skills.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility, initiative, accountability and personal responsibility for work.
  • Ability to be collaborative and pro‑active.
  • Responsible for ensuring all comments/feedback are received and compiled correctly on time.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional attitude in a fast paced work environment.
  • Project Management experience will be considered an asset.
