Job summary

Masterfeeds Winnipeg is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our Winnipeg warehouse team. You will help manage shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling, including forklift operations as required, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Basic mechanical skills and computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory
• Ensure timely, cost-effective shipment of finished goods
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
• Complete documentation to maintain workflow
• Maintain safe, sanitary workplace and comply with quality standards
• Assist plant personnel and respond to leadership requests
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Basic mechanical skills and computer literacy
• Capable of performing physical job duties (may include lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling and twisting safely)
• Using personal protective equipment (PPE), must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow-up
• Understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Monday to Friday with overtime available

Preferred

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or agricultural setting
• Previous experience of forklift
• Trained in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
• High school diploma or equivalent
