Qualifications

• Prior production or agriculture experience is an asset.
• Able to lift 25 kg repeatedly.
• Willing to work in varying temperatures (heat/cold).
• Able to work around common allergens (peanuts, nuts, grains, dust).
• Valid driver’s licence with access to own transportation.
• High school diploma.
• Works well independently and in a team; strong attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate production equipment to produce, pack and store feed.
• Lift and move 25kg feed bags.
• Stack and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Operate a forklift and receive ingredients into the mill.

Primary Duties

• Safely and effectively operate various production equipment to produce, pack and store feed
• Lift and move 25kg (55lb) feed bags
• Stack and prepare finished products for shipment
• Operate a forklift and receive ingredients into the mill
• Maintain rigorous quality control, ensuring all products meet or exceed company specifications
• Positively interact with customers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and identify process improvements
• Uphold strict compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
