Job summary

OEM Remanufacturing Company Inc. offers a permanent day-shift general labor role, combining 50% computer work with hands-on production tasks. You will pick up and deliver parts, maintain tooling and 5S standards, and support calibration, audits and data entry.

Must pass drug/alcohol tests and background checks; wage is hourly in CAD and unionized environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma, general labour experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• General labour experience required.
• Experience in a heavy-duty equipment facility preferred.
• Crane/rigging and Powerjack/Forklift experience preferred.
• Must communicate written and spoken English effectively.
• Must be a team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds.
• A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator.
• Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner and comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures.

Note

• This posting is for a static day shift; Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day (8am - 4:30pm)


• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
