About us:

Reporting to the Director of Customer Products, our team is looking for a motivated Product Specialist to engage with our customers and drive their roadmap.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conducts Discovery sessions to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
  2. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams.
  3. Collaborate closely with customers, engineering, product, and sales teams on the development and release of products, to ensure success of the customers and entire organization.
  4. Work with stakeholders and project team to document and prioritize collected requirements.
  5. Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develops strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
  6. Integrate customer feedback and insights from performance measurement into roadmaps.
  7. In alignment with the product vision, create and maintain a product backlog and continuously re-prioritize user stories that will provide the most customer or end user value.
  8. Provide user story design, development and completion oversight; accepting / rejecting user stories based on the agreed upon Definition of Done and Acceptance Criteria.

Technical Expertise and Background:

  1. 5-8 years of progressive experience in a similar role.
  2. Mid level product management professional.
  3. Must have experience in OTT video domain and technologies.
  4. Collaborates with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
  5. Must have thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and tools and must advocate for adherence to standards.
  6. Keep current on emerging trends/developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques.
  7. Expert in Agile methodologies.
  8. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing time and resources based on business impact.
  9. Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis.
  10. Quick learner and ability to understand technology opportunities and challenges at a business level.
  11. Demonstrated passion and talent for technology. Candidates must have the capability to be conversant with Product and Technology leaders both internally and across our client base.
