Job summary

Interac Corp. is seeking a Product Readiness & Change Risk Lead in Canada to drive gating across the Enterprise Delivery Framework. You will ensure products meet readiness, risk, and operational criteria before release while partnering with risk, security, and product teams.

The role reports to the Leader, Quality & Certification CoE and emphasizes evidence-based governance, traceability, and continuous improvement, with a flexible hybrid work model and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist certifications are considered an asset.
• 7+ years of experience in software delivery lifecycle governance, release management, or operational readiness

Responsibilities

• Own and operationalize readiness gating across EDF with focus on build readiness, SIT/performance readiness, production approval, and operational acceptance.
• Define exit criteria and evidence that are measurable and consistently executed.
• Drive standardization of readiness artefacts, checklists, and evidence models for auditability and traceability.
• Lead lifecycle-based change risk management and ensure risks are identified throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and apply governance, risk scoring, and evaluation approaches for gates and compliance.
• Partner with Risk, Security, and Product teams to align operational, regulatory, and technology risks.
• Embed readiness requirements early in the delivery lifecycle and clarify accountability between Product, Engineering, and Operations.
