Job summary

Interac Corp. in Canada seeks a seasoned Product Readiness & Change Risk Lead to ensure enterprise standards for delivery readiness, risk management, and operational acceptance across the delivery lifecycle.

This leadership role guides squads and product teams, defining KPIs and championing standardized readiness practices. You will partner with Risk, Security, and Product teams to implement evidence-based controls, gates, and readiness artifacts, driving quality and reducing production risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in software delivery lifecycle governance, release management, or operational readiness.
• Experience in regulated environments (financial services/payments).
• Experience implementing enterprise delivery frameworks, gating models, or quality control practices.
• Ability to work across Product, Engineering, and Operations in a matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end SDLC and gate-based readiness practices.
• Expertise in change risk management with early risk identification and mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Build readiness SIT / performance readiness.
• Production approval and operational acceptance.
• Define exit criteria and evidence, measurable and repeatable.
• Drive standardization of readiness artefacts, checklists, and evidence models.
• Lead enterprise change risk management and gating discipline across delivery lifecycles.
• Partner with Risk, Security, and Product to align risks across domains.
• Embed readiness requirements early in the delivery lifecycle.
• Define and standardize enterprise readiness expectations and KPIs.
• Drive data-informed improvements and governance across squads and products.
