Job summary

RBC is seeking a Product Owner for the Digital Security Credential & Data Intelligence squad. You will own the backlog and outcomes for Agile delivery, balancing seamless user experiences with strong security for clients and the organization.

You will collaborate with engineering, design, and architecture, drive adoption, and create scalable documentation and onboarding assets to support platform growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or a similar role delivering digital or technology products.
• Comfort working across business and technology, API-level conversations and executive-readable summaries in the same day.
• Experience in agile delivery with genuine backlog ownership.
• Strong stakeholder skills; ability to align partner teams.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Baseline understanding of authentication, SSO, or identity concepts.
• High personal ownership and resilience during migrations.
• Change management experience with enablement teams.
• Bilingualism (English and French) required for RBC collaborations across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize your squad's backlog to improve platform adoption and client experience.
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria; communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Collaborate daily with engineering, design, and architecture as an embedded squad member.
• Lead agile ceremonies and maintain a transparent, dependency-driven delivery plan.
• Work with business, product, and technology teams to unblock integration and drive adoption.
• Create and maintain scalable documentation, self-service tooling, and onboarding assets.
• Instrument and report on adoption metrics, authentication success, latency, and incidents.
• Ensure monitoring and reporting meet audit requirements.
