We collaborate with Fortune 500 chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers, providing their process engineers with a next-generation AI platform. Our platform enables engineers to build digital twins and receive real-time recommendations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and decrease cycle times.

The Role

The Product Engineer is a client-facing, multifaceted technical role encompassing core competencies such as process optimization and customer success. You will act as an engineering subject matter expert and voice of the customer, working on pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing projects. Your external role involves onboarding enterprise partners, working with process engineers and stakeholders to maximize platform value, troubleshoot workflows, and architect new solutions. Collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering, you'll identify new use cases and influence platform development.

Responsibilities
  • Lead customer success initiatives and develop relationships with customer champions and end-users.
  • Implement high-impact use cases to expand platform usage and maximize ROI.
  • Train internal teams on engineering and analytics methodologies.
  • Provide technical feedback to the product team based on customer needs.
  • Travel occasionally for workshops, support, and relationship building.
  • Analyze process operations to identify improvements and develop visualizations for decision-making.
  • Identify and facilitate custom data integrations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Account Executives, Process Modellers, and Software Engineers.
  • Use web apps/tools to monitor customer feedback and define data-driven processes for customer success management.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in process control, simulation, and optimization aligned with customer needs.
  • Passion for applying AI/ML to engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical content.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-7+ years of engineering experience in pharmaceuticals, chemical manufacturing, or Oil & Gas.
  • Ability to analyze process data, flow diagrams, P&IDs, and manufacturing metrics.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and experience driving continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of enterprise historians like OSIsoft PI, Delta-V, Wonderware, GE Proficy is a plus.
  • Programming experience in Python is an asset.
