Job summary

Dayforce is seeking a self-starting Product Designer to shape AI-powered workflows for HR professionals and employees. You will work within the AI Experience team to translate complex AI capabilities into usable, explainable experiences, balancing ambition with responsible design.

You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, research, and design systems partners to create reusable patterns, prototypes, and guidance that scale across Dayforce, while maintaining trust and user control in

Qualifications

• Experience shipping enterprise SaaS or complex workflow experiences.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and shaping early concepts.
• Strong systems-thinking and ability to connect moments to architecture.
• Excellent craft in interaction design and product thinking.
• Ability to work across surfaces from concept to production.
• Experience with AI-powered workflows or human+AI interaction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-powered product experiences across Dayforce.
• Shape interaction models for human + AI collaboration.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to frame opportunities.
• Conduct discovery, concept testing, and usability testing.
• Create prototypes and internal demos for leadership and teams.
• Develop reusable design patterns for agentic experiences.
• Translate platform capabilities into approachable user experiences.
• Design for trust, transparency, and responsible AI practices.
• Contribute to Dayforce Design System for AI consistency.
• Facilitate AI design workshops and cross-functional reviews.
• Present work clearly to executives and stakeholders.
• Support recruiting processes including outreach.
• Help define foundational AI experience architecture.
• Design patterns for integrating Assistants and AI workflows.
• Balance innovation with responsible design in fast-moving environment.
• Work in dual mode building core AI experiences and enabling others.
• Evolve AI Workspace into platform ecosystem.
