Job summary

Dayforce is seeking a self-starting Product Designer for the AI Experience team to shape AI-powered workflows for HR professionals, managers, and employees. You will bridge AI engineering, design systems, and experience design to create human-centered, trustworthy product experiences across Dayforce.

This role spans discovery, systems thinking, prototyping, and delivery, with opportunities to influence design patterns, collaborate with PMs and engineers, and contribute to a broader AI roadmap

Qualifications

• Experience shipping enterprise SaaS products or complex workflow experiences.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and shape early concepts before full requirements.
• Strong systems-thinking to connect user moments to product architecture and data flows.
• Strong craft in interaction design and product thinking to simplify complex capabilities.
• Ability to span concepts from platform foundations to production-ready workflows.
• Expert in one, advanced in two, and proficient in two of the listed design skills.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-powered product experiences across Dayforce, focusing on enterprise workflows.
• Shape interaction models for human + AI collaboration and review AI-assisted actions.
• Partner with PMs and Engineers to frame opportunities and define requirements.
• Conduct discovery, concept testing, and usability testing with UX Research support.
• Create prototypes and internal demos for leadership and stakeholder buy-in.
• Develop reusable design patterns for agentic experiences and AI workflows.
• Translate technical capabilities into approachable user experiences, including config and monitoring.
• Design for trust, transparency, privacy, and responsible AI in regulated workplaces.
• Contribute to Dayforce Design System for consistent AI experiences across product areas.
• Facilitate AI design workshops and present work to executives and cross-functional teams.
• Support recruiting processes, including portfolio reviews and interviews.
