Tolko Industries Ltd. in Vernon, BC, is seeking a Product Coordinator, T-Link to manage product supply and inventory, ensuring on-time shipments and cost efficiencies.

The role requires strong communication, Excel skills, and an understanding of basic accounting within a forestry/wood products context. You will work in Tolko’s Vernon head office with a focus on collaboration across Sales, Logistics, Finance, and IT to optimize the T-Link network and related processes.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, forestry, manufacturing or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience providing positive customer experience with relationship and conflict management skills.
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills with multiple solution options.
• High proficiency in Outlook and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
• Knowledge of supply chain structure; forestry/wood products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and communicate product supply information to manage working capital and on-time shipment.
• Manage receiving and shipping into the T-Link network.
• Balance and reconcile inventory at Origin reloads and T-Link locations.
• Process all shipping and receiving for remanufactured and external purchases.
• Address and recommend actionable changes for product damages, aged inventory or claims.
• Maintain inbound order files from mills and origin reloads with Sales; adjust as needed.
• Use problem-solving to suggest changes to orders when inventory does not meet the file.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Liaise with sales and reloads on customer requirements.

We’re looking for a Product Coordinator, T-Linkto join our head office located in Vernon, British Columbia. Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Some post-secondary education in business, forestry, manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience providing positive customer experience, with proven relationship and conflict management skills.
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide multiple solutions to a given challenge.
• High level of ability in Outlook (email management) and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of up and down stream supply chain structure.
• Experience in forestry or wood products is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data.
• Experience in Dynamics365 is an asset.
• Works collaboratively with other team members.

In this role, you will:

• Use problem-solving skillsto suggest changes to individual orders when Inventory does not meet order file.
• Focus on identifying and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Liaisewith sales and reloads closely on customer requirements.
