Akamai is seeking a Product Architect to shape end-to-end architecture for security-focused products and features. You will translate requirements into bold architectural designs, spanning configuration, reporting, and runtime concerns.

Qualificações

• 8 years experience and a Bachelor's in Computer related field or its equivalent.
• Experience designing large-scale, low-latency, web-based distributed systems.
• Knowledge of big data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and AI in software.
• Big-picture, end-to-end vision when designing features; solid SDLC & web tech.
• Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting ideas; collaborative; handle ambiguity.
• Passionate about building customer-focused features; proactive in researching systems.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with product management to understand and finalize requirements that fit our technology and bring customer value
• Define end to end architecture and functionality required in new or existing systems to realize the requirements
• Collaborate with other organizations to realize non-functional needs such as security, services, etc.
• Present the design for review
• Guide the engineering teams as they do the detailed designs and implementation
• Acquire and sharing subject matter expertise of security products, and contribute to their future vision and technical roadmap

Have a direct impact on the future of Internet Security

You'll create end-to-end architecture and high-level designs for new security products and features. These designs span configuration, reporting, and runtime aspects of the system, including data analytics and attack detection. You'll work on different problem statements and dive deep to understand and address complex security pain points. This will play a role in translating requirements into bold architecture.

As a Product Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with product management to understand and finalize requirements that fit our technology and bring customer value
• Defining end to end architecture and functionality required in new or existing systems to realize the requirements
• Collaborating with other organizations to realize the non functional needs such as security, services, etc.
• Presenting the design for review
• Guiding the engineering teams as they do the detailed designs and implementation
• Acquiring and sharing subject matter expertise of security products, and contributing to their future vision and technical roadmap

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years experience and a Bachelor's in Computer related field or its equivalent
• Have experience designing large-scale, low-latency, web-based distributed systems
• Demonstrate knowledge of big data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and/or the appropriate use of AI in software solutions
• Have a big picture and end-to-end vision when designing new features and thoroughly understand SDLC and web technologies
• Have good interpersonal skills, be comfortable presenting your ideas, and can collaborate effectively. Handle ambiguity and imperfect information well.
• Be passionate about building features that will be usable for our customers and help solve their problems
• Be proactive in researching systems and issues, document solutions thoroughly, and have an interest in learning new technologies
